Fujifilm is on fire again! The company has just announced the release of three brand new lenses for both GFX and X camera series: GF80mm F1.7 R WR, XF27mm F2.8 R WR and XF70-300mm F4-5.6 LM OIS WR.
GF80mm F1.7 R WR
FUJINON GF80mmF1.7 R WR will be released in late February 2021. It will be a new addition to the lineup of interchangeable GF lenses designed for GFX Series of mirrorless digital cameras, incorporating the large format sensor, approximately 1.7 times larger than a full-frame 35mm sensor.
The GF80mmF1.7 R WR is a large-diameter standard prime lens with a focal length of 80mm (equivalent to 63mm in the 35mm full-frame format). Among lenses for digital cameras featuring the large format sensors, it achieves an ultra-bright maximum aperture of F1.7 for creamy and beautiful bokeh. With its autofocus (AF) system, users can capture subjects swiftly and accurately to create high-quality portraits.
XF27mm F2.8 R WR
FUJINON XF27mmF2.8 R WR will be launched in March 2021. It will be a new addition to the lineup of interchangeable XF lenses designed for X Series of mirrorless digital cameras, providing a compact lightweight design and outstanding image quality with Fujifilm’s proprietary color reproduction technology.
The XF27mmF2.8 R WR is a standard prime lens with focal length of 27mm (equivalent to 41mm in the 35mm format). It offers outstanding resolution in a compact design. The dust and weather resistant structure provides durability and the aperture ring offers excellent operability so that users can enjoy high-quality photography in a wide range of shooting scenes including snapshots, portraits, and landscape photography.
XF70-300mm F4-5.6 LM OIS WR
FUJINON XF70-300mmF4-5.6 R LM OIS WR will be launched in March 2021. It will be a new addition to the lineup of interchangeable XF lenses designed for X Series of mirrorless digital cameras, providing a compact lightweight design and outstanding image quality with Fujifilm’s proprietary color reproduction technology.
The XF70-300mmF4-5.6 R LM OIS WR extends from a medium telephoto 70mm to ultra telephoto 300mm (equivalent to 107mm-457mm in the 35mm format). It covers wide range of telephoto shooting scenes in spite of its small lightweight design measuring 132.5mm long and weighing approximately 580g. It comprises a powerful image stabilization system, suitable for sports, nature and other photography.
