Our cover contributor for this month is Karen Hutton, who is continuing her article series, ‘The Spirit of Landscape Photography’ with the first of a two-part look at the importance of developing an artistic practice as a photographer, along with some tips and advice for how to go about it.

Take Kayo brings us his latest instalment of Take’s Corner, where he shares with us his experience of the X Summit in Stockholm last month, explaining why, for him, it was all about people over cameras.

Next up is Michael Govorko, who describes his approach to photography and explains what it is about his home city of Tel Aviv that inspires him to get out and shoot. Instead of a photo essay this month, we have a special collaborative piece between Stephanie Baxter and friends to celebrate September’s X Summit event in Stockholm and the release of the GFX100 II, while Diletta Pasini considers the similarities and differences of the landscapes of Lanzarote and Iceland, as documented through the lens of her X100F.

As usual, we also have our monthly ‘From the Feed’ feature, where we’re sharing four popular images from #myfujilove on Instagram, posted by Chris Sammut, Regan Neale, Eddy Delorie and Scotti Wilson. In our FujiLove interview for this month, Joakim Thornéus chats to Stephanie Baxter about his 15-year photography journey, and how his passion for architecture and history has shaped the way he photographs his home city of Stockholm.

We’re also thrilled to bring you our ‘Gear Talk’ section of FujiLove Magazine, starting with Rico Pfirstinger, who is delivering his next instalment in his camera settings series that shows you how to best set up and make the most of your X cameras while avoiding common pitfalls along the way, this month walking us through the power management menu.  Next up is Piet Van den Eynde with a look at what’s new in Luminar Neo 1.13.0 and discussion about the software’s pricing structure, while Bobbi Lane continues her Tamron lens mini series, this month comparing the Tamron 17-70mmF2.8 with the XF16-55mmF2.8 and XF16-80mmF4. Rounding off the issue is Dylan Goldby, who considers whether the older Fujinon lenses are still worth using with cameras that sport the new 40MP sensor, such as the X-T5 and X-H2.

Happy reading!
