Meanwhile, Richard Cranefield shares how his experiences following the death of his wife became the catalyst to a portrait series that raises awareness of grief and tells the stories of the community of young widows and widowers of which he is now a part. Next up is Ivan Holmedal with a photo essay that depicts a three-day detour that he took on his way to as photography workshop in Senja in northern Norway, documenting the icy landscapes that are particular to Lofoten, while Johan Otterdahl Edfeldt gives us an interesting peek behind the curtain at his ‘One-Camera-One-Lens-One-Year’ project, an undertaking that saw him take a photo every day for a year using only the X-E1 and the Konica Hexanon 40mmF1.8.
As usual, we also have our monthly ‘From the Feed’ feature, where we’re sharing four popular images from #myfujilove on Instagram, posted by Oscar Bjarnason, Stig Ove Abildsten Gisnaas, Shae x Jes Photography and David Queenan. In our FujiLove interview for this month, Stephanie Baxter is chatting to Anja Poehlmann about how her camera acts as a conversation starter in making subjects comfortable and how her gear allows her to get in close and capture beautiful and authentic moments.
Continuing his ‘Lost & Found’ series, Matthew Willingham reflects on the joys that travel can bring, as well as the opportunities for personal growth that it affords us when we open ourselves up to broadening our horizons.

Next up is Bobbi Lane, who is sharing a simple guide to photographing and processing images of auroras. Rounding off the November issue is Dylan Goldby with his cover article.
